Now let's back up to the first triggered ability that is self-mill at a good pace and getting an additional land drop out of your graveyard once per turn is quite good

The otter can replace the second copy of Expansion, giving us some redundancy if we need to use some Expansions on earlier turns (often to turn a counterspell or Duress back at the caster)

There are other cards in Homelands that could be considered playable, but none of them are too memorable

Sure, new artworks were expected, and we got plenty of them

Dropping a +1/+1 counter and proliferating doesn't sound like much, but generals like Atraxa, Praetor's Voice might enjoy this effect greatly
